Thank you so much to those of you who joined us on May 21 in celebrating the launch of Issue 08: Face to Face with our friends Boudoir at the Best Bees warehouse. We’re still buzzing with excitement!
We were thrilled to partner once again with the Boston-based collaborative Boudoir, whose DJs Math3ca, Adam Unknown, Bricklayer, Ms. Mango, and Mx. Blaire brought the best tunes for getting people on the dance floor. Follow along with them for a whole bunch of events coming up this summer.
We’d also like to thank our venue hosts, Best Bees, who graciously welcomed us into their space. Since 2010, The Best Bees Company has installed and maintained honeybee hives on commercial and residential properties in urban centers across the US with a mission to improve bee health and expand the bee population. If you are interested in hosting a hive at your home or office, get in touch with them!
If you missed our editor-in-chief’s speech at the event, here’s a little recap: Parties are really important to BAR‘s mission. We believe that creating safe and fun spaces for our community to gather, let loose, and celebrate with one another fosters a more engaged arts ecosystem that helps keep creative communities in Boston. Your support is crucial to making these events happen, thank you for being a part of the growing BAR community.
