Peter Murphy

Peter Murphy is an art historian, curator, and writer based in Cambridge, MA. He is the Stefan Engelhorn Curatorial Fellow in the Busch-Reisinger Museum at the Harvard Art Museums, where he curates and researches modern and contemporary art from Central and Northern Europe. He is co-curating two forthcoming exhibitions at the Harvard Art Museums: Made in Germany? Art and Identity in a Global Nation (Fall 2024) and Edvard Munch: Technically Speaking (Spring 2025). Peter received his PhD from the University of Rochester in 2022.
